Total Rewards: Next Practices
The landscape and strategy for future total rewards is changing. The impact that the economy and other external factors has on current models was recently researched and WorldatWork has published thought leadership around changes and implications that every total rewards practitioner should be aware of and incorporating into their human capital strategy. Paul Rowson, Managing Director of WorldatWork’s Washington, DC Office and Conference Center will lead a discussion with Mid-South Compensation Association members on what paradigm shifts will take place as a result of the changing business environment.

Are you working toward Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification? If not, start now!
MSCA sponsors WorldatWork Certification Courses in Memphis. By offering the course in Memphis, Mid-South compensation and benefits professionals can work on certification without the expense of traveling to a distant location.
There is no time requirement for completion of the nine courses to become fully certified. More information on certification requirements is available on WorldatWork website.

Our mission is to provide educational development and to facilitate the exchange of information and experiences for compensation and human resources professionals.
MSCA Scholarship Fund
In support of our community and the pursuit of academic study, the Mid-South Compensation Association Scholarship Fund will provide a $2,000 scholarship to be administered by the University of Memphis and the University of Memphis Foundation. The scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 for the Fall and separately, $1,000 for the Spring semester.

- Eligible candidates include University of Memphis students with declared major of Psychology or Management with concentration in the area of Human Resources Management
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is desirable in order to compete with other candidates
- Preference given to a member or immediate family member of the Mid-South Compensation Association.
Application for the scholarship will be coordinated through the University’s Scholarship Office.

Through WorldatWork, a national organization dedicated to excellence in the field of compensation, benefits, work-life and total rewards education and information, we offer courses necessary to obtain certification as compensation, benefits and total rewards professionals.
Membership in the Association is on an individual basis, as distinguished from company or group membership and is open to individuals engaged in one or more activities in the field of compensation or human resources. Membership is also open to other interested professionals or students as determined by the MSCA Board of Directors.

- Please arrange to pay your membership dues promptly. MSCA membership dues are based on a calendar year basis (March-February) and are $75 per person and $65 for additional members within the same company.
