Please join the Mid-South Compensation Association for our quarterly meeting on Thursday, December, 8th at 11:30 A.M. until 1 P.M.

 

The meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn, 3700 Central Ave, Memphis, TN 38111.

 

Session Title:                         “Comparable Worth

 

 Presenter:                 Blair Johanson, Principal Partner and President, Johanson Group and DBSquared, LLC

 

Holiday Fundraiser:   MSCA will also be holding a toy drive during the event to benefit the Neighborhood Christian Community Toy Store. In lieu of registration fees we are asking all guests to bring an unwrapped, new toy valued at $20.00 or more. Please take the time to help a needy child in Memphis have a great holiday season!  If you do not wish to bring a gift, please pay the regular registration fee.  All proceeds from the meeting will be donated to the Neighborhood Christian Community Toy Store.

The program will explore the comparable worth which include the history of both pay equity and comparable worth.  In this interactive session, we will offer insight into this topic.  As a result, you will better understand how it will affect your organizations.

Johanson Group has offered HR/Compensation and business management consulting since 1973.  Blair completed twenty years in health care human resources and hospital administration prior to joining the family management consulting business in 1999.  Blair and his twin brother have consulted with numerous organizations and companies located primarily in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kentucky and they have clients located in over 25 states. Blair has a Master’s of Business Administration and a BSBA in Personnel Management from the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton School of Business.
